Paula Kavolus and Jill Bondura founded their company based on this principle and now proudly offer an entire line of wholesome preserves, dessert toppings and biscuits made the old-fashioned way.
With 9 sons between the two mothers, the partners had plenty of practice cooking up delicious dishes. But when Paula discovered a 150-year old family recipe for peach preserves, a homegrown business was born right in the Kavolus' kitchen. After countless trips to peach orchards, hundreds of batches, and tastings by 9 picky and painfully honest food critics, the pair were finally satisfied with their first product. When friends started to clamor for jars of the hand-crafted peach preserves, the duo set out to bring their delectable creation to families everywhere.
